During the Vietnam War, Jessie Beck sent care packages to Navy pilot Richard ‘Dick’ Perry. Then she sent more. Packages went to Dick’s squadron, the Ghost Riders, and his partner squadron, the Saints. Ultimately, she sent thousands of packages to troops across all military branches.
